For you to learn Spanish In Mexico City, we offer wide variety of Spanish language learning programs to suit every need. Our intensive courses are offered at all levels from complete beginners to very advanced. The average number of students per group is three to four, with a maximum of eight. You can start any Monday for the number of weeks that you want. Minimum age, 16 years old.
All our Spanish teachers are native speakers, and are certified. This will expose you to natural pronunciation and intonation in the classroom. All our classes are conducted entirely in Spanish, and you get plenty of opportunity to practise the sort of language you are likely to need outside the classroom. Our classes follow a communicative approach . Our main aim is to develop your abilities to speak and understand spoken and written Spanish. Our Spanish courses are designed both for effectiveness and to make the most out of your time in Mexico City. We want you to experience and use Spanish.
We pay attention to grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing skills, and a wide variety of materials are used, including published materials from many different sources as well as materials which have been written/designed by our own teachers.

After a week of intensive Spanish classes at The Learning and Teaching Studio (LTS) I finally managed to break through the language barrier. Only a week ago I was lost in verbs and even basic stuff and now I can communicate with confidance. Plus, there is desire to continue to improve. All conditions here are created to fully immerse in the language. The practice continues outside the studio walls. The Academic Coordinator, helps a lot with orientation to get around in the city. Also, the studio’s accommodation is located conveniently at a walking distance from the studio. And the food that is cooked in the studio is delicious. In short, I liked it a lot. I would recommend these classes to everybody who wants to get guaranteed results to learn Spanish in a short period of time, and with pleasure.

Еще неделю назад я мэкала и бэкала, а теперь уверенно общаюсь. И есть огромное желание совершенствоваться дальше. Все условия здесь созданы для полного погружения в язык. Практика продолжается за стенами студии. Эдна, координатор обучения, очень помогает с ориентировкой на местности. Удобно расположение общежития рядом со студией. И еда, которую готовят в студии, просто обьедение. В общем, очень понравилось. Рекомендую всем, кто хочет сделать прорыв в испанском за короткое время, и с удовольствием.
Me gustaron mucho las clases de español intensivo en el estudio LTS (The Learning and Teaching Studio). Logré un gran avance después de sólo una semana. La coordinadora académica ayuda mucho con la orientación en la ciudad. La ubicación de la residencia es muy cómoda para ir a pie a la clase. Y la comida en el estudio es deliciosa. 1- What happens in a Spanish lesson?
Our lessons follow a student centred approach. This means that most ofthe time, the activities are focused on the students. The aim is to provide students with practice of written and spoken Spanish. All the lessons are contextualized and we use materials that provide the student with everyday situations whichwill promote the use of Spanish in a natural way.
2- What types of classes does LTS (Learning and Teaching Studio) offer?
There are classes in groups with no more than 8 students and one-to-one classes. We also offer classes for specific purposes, e.g. for nurses, for business, etc.
3- What’s the advantage of learning Spanish at LTS?
There’s a friendly learning environment. Allour classes are very communicative and with no more than 8 students per groupso that the teacher can pay close attention to each student. The length of our courses is very flexible, depending on the student’s needs.
4- What’s the methodology used at LTS?
At LTS we follow a communicative approach which enables students to use Spanish in authentic, everyday situations. Interaction amongst learners is vital. Inclass, we use authentic texts – written and spoken- this will help you learnnew vocabulary. Teachers also pay attention to the pronunciation, to help you sound more natural. All our teachers are Spanish native speakers, and classes are given totally in Spanish.
5- Are there any other activities apart from regular classes at the school?
Yes, we have a total immersion programme. In the classroom, our lessons integrateculture, and in the afternoon there is a social programme. The social programme includes visits to historical places near the school during the week where youwill learn more about the culture, and history of the place. Once every weekthere is a cooking class where you will have the opportunity to learn about theMexican gastronomy, prepare the recipe, and enjoy it at the end of the class!. At the weekend there are activities which are part of the social programme, e.g. visit to the Pyramids of Teotihuacán.
6- What’s the advantage of learning Mexican Spanish vs Spanish from Spain?
It would be similar to asking the advantage of learning British English over North American English. Perhaps population can shed some light over this matter. According to 2010 population census, there ate more than 120 million Mexicans. Perhaps another 12 million Mexicans live in the United States. There are just more people in the world speaking or writing Mexican Spanish or Latin American Spanish. For practical purposes, the vocabulary learned at LTS has a broader use in the World than that from Spain.
